The Freedom Run has become a family tradition for us! This year was my 4th time around and it's always well organized and planned out. There are usually runners with great costumes and the food in the runner corral is good and plentiful! You gotta experience it!

Poor organization, very disappointed

I tried looking up packet pick up online this year, but the website was down. No info was sent in any emails, so I relied on last year's info. Unfortunately by the time I just went there, it had already closed. I tried the organizers, but no help there. Who gives out info once to thousands of people & expect them to remember it, & then not be available when they try to get it? I want a refund, but who knows, I may just be screwed.

We were the naked runners

We ran this 10k dressed up as body painted RED WHITE AND BLUE! Three of us ran it, one was U, one was S (me) , and one was A! It was the best ever. Our U even threw up on university avenue he was running so hard! Very well organized run and with the American patriotic and funky music echoing from my backpack, it was a great time!

This race was so fun. Great way to start out the Holiday. I was a little disappointed the hot air balloons were not in the air, but that is no fault of the race organizers.
